Liverpool Cruise Port is going from strength to strength, with 2025 looking like another bumper year for the port. I have reviewed the scheduled cruise ships in 2025 to identify some interesting highlights that will be docking in the city. 2025 also looks to be the year we will see proposals to develop the cruise facilities further, with a new terminal and landing stage extension.
Cunard’s Queen Anne, recently named within the city, is scheduled to visit Cunard’s spiritual home on Monday, May 26th and Tuesday 27th. This overnight stop in the city also aligns with a bank holiday. Queen Anne returns in August for a one-day visit on Friday, August 15th.

Ultra Luxury cruise line Regent is having a long stay in the port from Monday 30th June to Wednesday 2nd July, giving guests a good amount of time to enjoy the city.
Disney Cruise Lines ship Disney Fantasy will be docking in the city on Thursday, September 11th. Sadly this is not a weekend as both the cruise line and city have been known to make an event of the Disney fleet. It could be worth seeing the ship leave to hear its amazing horn, adding some Magic to the Mersey.
Also in September the world’s only ocean liner, Queen Mary 2, now celebrating its 21st year in service will be visiting the city for two days, giving passengers once again more time to enjoy the city arriving on Thursday, September 18th and leaving the following day on Friday, September 19th.
For those more interested in the topic, MSC Preziosa, originally ordered by Gadaffi before his regime collapsed, is in Liverpool on Sunday, May 4th and Sunday, September 21st. Norwegian Cruise Lines’ Norwegian Prima docks in the city on Thursday 8th May, the first time a member of this unusual class has docked in the city. Hapag-Lloyd’s Europa, one of the world’s top-rated cruise ships will be in port on Thursday 4th September. The timeless Artania, formerly the Royal Princess of Princess Cruises and later Artemis of P&O is visiting the city on Tuesday, 14th October.
There are lots of ships visiting and I would recommend this link for a clear timetable – https://www.cruisetimetables.com/liverpool-england-cruise-ship-schedule-2025.html
If you’re visiting on a cruise, why not consider a walking tour around the city with WalkLiverpool – www.walkliverpool.co.uk this is the tour designed with cruise passengers in mind.
Thanks,
Liam
